Happy 155th Birthday Laura Ingalls Wilder

Today we celebrate the birth of Laura Ingalls Wilder 155 years ago.

Read to the end of some Laura Ingalls Wilder celebration ideas!

Laura Ingalls was born on February 7, 1867 to Charles and Caroline Ingalls in Pepin, Wisconsin.
Laura grew up to write the iconic Little House books which told of her family's personal pioneer story. There are many pioneer perspectives. She wrote about her own family's experiences. She also wrote a book focusing on her husband's childhood in the book Farmer Boy.
People have been reading the Little House books since 1932 and still love them today.
If you want to know more about the history and people that Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote about, consider my book, The Laura Ingalls Wilder Companion: A Chapter-by-Chapter Guide. It also includes hundreds of defined pioneer terms and 75 activities.
Ask for The Laura Ingalls Wilder Companion at your local bookstore or order it online. Check out the reviews to see if it's right for you. (Affiliate link.)
How will you celebrate? Here are a few ideas!
