Little House in the Big Woods Discussion Questions

Before I get into the Little House in the Big Woods discussion guide, I want to make sure you know about a free, on-line class available to all called Laura Ingalls Wilder: Exploring Her Work and Writing Life.  It begins Wednesday. Are you signed up? I am! Let me know if you sign up. Thank you, Missouri State for providing the class for all. I've mentioned it on Facebook, but maybe you didn't see it.

As I've said, my goal for Little House Companion is for it to be a resource for readers and fans of the Little House books. Today I am excited to share with you discussion questions for Little House in the Big Woods.
Little House in the Big Woods Discussion Questions

My intention is to read through the Little House books, one at a time, and consider activities and recipes that might be valuable to you. I also want to provide discussion questions about each book. As a former teacher, I actually enjoy the process of creating discussion questions. (I even created enrichment work for The Mouse Called Wolf by Dick King-Smith. My daughter needed some extra practice during the summer with critical thinking and writing, and this book was perfect for her.)

The discussion questions I provide for you are for personal or educational use. They may not be copied or sold. The Little House in the Big Woods discussion questions are perfect for book club discussions, parent/child discussions, or classroom discussions.

To get your own copy, please sign up for emails from Little House Companion

After you confirm your subscription, The Little House in the Big Woods discussion questions will be at the bottom of the email you receive from me as a little thank you for supporting this blog. You only get emails when there is a new Little House Companion post. Since I don't update the blog regularly, send me an email if you need them sooner than later. Thanks!

If you are interested in a trivia/bingo game for the entire Little House series, you'll also want to subscribe to my author newsletter. The Little House trivia is included in each newsletter. I send out the newsletter quarterly, with additional newsletters if I have big news (like new books).

If you have any problems with signing up or viewing the PDF for the Big Woods discussion questions, please let me know.  Let me know what you think!
